Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American journalist. She's an ESPN anchor for news and also hosts SportsNation occasionally. She joined ESPN as a reporter in 2016. The child of television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native speaker of two languages. From the age of nine years old, Collins's capacity to converse in two languages helped her get a job in Miami as an assistant production for Univision. In her position, she had the opportunity to work with national producers such as Nuestra Belleza Latina. Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later hired as a reporter by the CBS station as a sports journalist. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Her stories covered immigration as well as drug trafficking and other issues on both the Texas as well as the Mexico border. Additionally, she worked as an anchor and Spanish reporter on the newscast of 5 p.m., an anchor and reporter for the newscast from 9 p.m. in English as well as a Spanish reporter at 10 p.m. She also filled in for weather anchors, sports anchors and forecasters. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibility. She wrote pieces on Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra and was the anchor. She was promoted to sports anchor for Despierta America Deportes' morning show. She held the same position as a sports anchor for Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents were originally native to Veracruz Mexico. The family relocated from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. Her older sister is also hers. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. After a short time, her father separated from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. While on a vacation Antonietta spent the time at her sister's house in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed the job of his dreams. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, however she knew the things she wanted to accomplish. It was an amazing campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. She completed her schooling and was accepted to the University with a degree in media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director at WRMU 91.1 FM, a station of which she was a member. Her professor urged her to have self-confidence and was deeply moved by his passion for journalism.
